How to overcome long-lasting pain? CPS – Chronic pain syndrome and CBD.

People suffering from long-lasting pains of various origins, lasting more than three months, undergo a hard path full of pain attacks, which at times is simply unbearable. Chronic pain syndrome significantly makes patients functioning harder in everyday life, bringing pain and suffering, which even the best available medical resources and therapeutic treatments can not cope with. From month to month, the patient’s body becomes immune to painkillers, and the side effects of increased dosage are clearly noticeable.

We are aging – these are the facts. But should old age be associated with illness, chronic pain and suffering? It is precisely for such patients in the process of treating chronic pain syndromes that the use of CBD can be almost beneficial, and the effects of its supplementation bring a long-lasting effect without leaving any side effects.

Chronic pain syndrome – effects of CBD for pain supported by research.

The results clearly show that due to the CBD effect on the endocannabinoid system and stimulation of various receptors in the body, the pain sensation decreases considerably, which results in a general increase in the patient’s satisfactory well-being.

Researchers confirm that cannabidiol affects the level of pain in such conditions as:

  • Chronic pain syndrome of the spine
  • Pelvic pain syndromes
  • Neuropathic pain
  • Cancer pains
  • Joint pain (arthritis, degeneration)
  • Back pain
  • Diabetic polyneuropathy
  • Chronic pain syndromes of various origins (PHN).
  • Pain associated with MS
  • bruises
  • Headaches, frequent migraines
  • Toothache

Studies in rats in 2007 (Italy) have shown a significant decrease in long-lasting pain after treatment for CBD oils. The results of the conducted research are just a drop in the sea of positive reactions and opinions of specialists regarding the positive impact of CBD on the body fighting a chronic pain syndrome. Cannabidiol also had its use when other strong drugs (eg opioids) did not show positive effects.

The undeniable advantage of CBD supplementation in the treatment of chronic pain is the lack of side effects and high tolerance of the body to substances contained in oils. In contrast to THC, CBD does not reveal psychoactive properties.

A chronic pain syndrome. How does CBD minimize the occurring chronic pain syndrome?

The secret of comprehensive action on all types of pain syndromes is muscle relief after eating CBD, which confirms the large number of patients suffering from multiple sclerosis using cannabinoids. Researchers also point to the influence of CBD oil on vanilloid receptors, resulting in a reduction in the intensity of pain in the human body.

The other important receptors located in the spinal cord responsible for the level of perceived pain are the glycine receptors. Here, too, studies have clearly demonstrated the benefits of using CBD oils in the treatment of chronic pain. Activation with the use of cannabidiol glycine receptors caused a decrease in patients’ pain (study 2012).

Each year, the number of people suffering from chronic pain syndrome of various origins increases. It is estimated that in Poland this number has exceeded 20% of our society. Supporting the relief of chronic pain syndromes with CBD oils provides a credible opportunity for each patient to improve overall health, reduce pain and return to normal functioning in everyday life. It is an alternative to the commonly available and recommended analgesics on the market, the number of these possible side effects and complications giving rise to fear and uncertainty of patients.

Specialists and scientists predict CBD oils for a bright future in the effective fight against chronic pain syndromes. You can read about the therapeutic properties of CBD here.
